Tent School Project
In association with other charities in the field, we supported a tent school for 120 children, 10 kms beyond Mansehra. In addition 80 more orphans had been accommodated at a school at Mansehra proper.
Our Achievements:
- Total No of affected students : 114.
- 50 pair of student’s chairs and tables required. est Rs 50,000/=
- 114 school bags and curriculum books required. est Rs 285,000/=
- Possibly 20 Computers required. est Rs 600,000/=
- Hand pump for drinking water required. est Rs 40,000/=
- Two more teachers required on salary basis Rs 12,000/= per month.
- Additional logistic/admin cost Rs 30,000/= per month
- School will also house a medical camp to cover people from adjoining six villages.
